Hanover is a town in Plymouth County in Massachusetts with a population of 13,879 according to 2010 census. First settled in 1649 and incorporated in 1727, it is bordered by Norwell, Pembroke, Hanson, and Rockland, MA, Hanover is 10 miles from Brockton and 20 from Boston. The town has several small parks, sanctuaries and conservation areas spread throughout the town. Hanover's eastern and southern borders are made up of three waterways, Indian Head, Herring Brook, and North.
